Arts Bombast: Sheila Rock
Happy International Women’s Day! Even though nearly every day is IWD at Ribbon Around a Bomb, it seems especially appropriate to feature a female artist today. Sheila Rock is a photographer in London who started making a name for herself shooting punk/rock icons in the late ’70s. MAJOR YAY ALERT: Next month she is releasing a book of her work, entitled PUNK+.
PUNK+ is available for pre-order at First Third Books.

You should probably just disable Comodo Secure DNS. It will block you from A LOT of sites, especially those containing links. I probably linked out to something a long time ago that *could* be flagged dangerous, although I have no way of knowing what the hell that is. I generally only link out to Youtube vids, and relevant publisher or artist websites… and of course I always visit them first so I know they’re not shady.
But… ya never know, one of the artist sites might have a virus or something?
