Noisegasm: Snatch

Experimental ambient-art-punk duo Snatch was comprised (mainly) of Judy Nylon and Patti Palladin. The two women collaborated from 1976 through 1980 before moving on to solo pursuits.

Compare to Judy Nylon’s later solo work, like this Eno-ized, ambient version of “Jailhouse Rock” from ’82. This is easily one of my favorite covers of all time:
