Arts Bombast: Raw Magazine
Fun fact: Before Art Spiegelman was busy winning the Pulitzer Prize, and before Francoise Mouly was busy being the art editor of the New Yorker, the quirky couple co-edited a comics anthology called Raw.
Contrary to normal me-ness, I’m DIGGING how very ’80s these covers are. And of course I always appreciate a publication or institution that promotes “low/outsider art” as an authentic form of expression with a proper place in the art world.
