Arts Bombast: Sigmar Polke

If you’re anything like me, you dig Germans and you dig pop art. Sigmar Polke was an experimental painter and photographer from East Germany who, along with Gerhard Richter, started the Kapitalistischer Realismus movement in 1963. His works are subversive, whimsical, and (to me, at least) kind of humorous. Feast yo eyes.
